Mark Probert

Mark Probert has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark joined Cactus in 2015 as a Managing Partner, where they advised and supported owners of marketing agencies to achieve their goals. Mark also worked as a Mentor to the Creative sector at Creative Edinburgh, assisting agencies and creative businesses in their growth and development. As the Founder of the Scottish community at The Agency Collective, they played a key role in building a strong network. Prior to that, Mark worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP as a Senior Manager, providing auditing and accounting services to various clients. Mark also served as Treasurer and Trustee at Craigmillar Park Association and worked as a Manager at Scott-Moncrieff Accountants associated with Moore Stephens, gaining expertise in audit, accounting, and financial management. As a UK and Europe Finance Manager at Iron Mountain, they led a team in preparing consolidated financial results. Mark started their career at Smith & Williamson as an Audit Senior, leading audit teams for SMEs and charities. Mark has a strong passion for helping agencies and inspiring future leaders. In 2018, they became the Managing Partner and Community Founder of AGENCYNOMICS, launching a global community dedicated to assisting agencies with data and knowledge for better business decisions. Mark Probert attended Alton College from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they studied at Mill Chase from 1989 to 1994.
