Lorena Chambers has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lorena began their career in 1986 as a Pharmacy Practice Resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and went on to work as a Clinical Pharmacist/PEACE Coordinator and Pharmacist in the same organization until 2006. In 2006, they joined Amgen as a Senior Regional Medical Liaison and worked there until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they held various roles at Sandoz, including Medical Science Liaison and Director - Medical Science Liaisons. Lorena then worked at Jazz Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director- East Region, Medical Science Liaisons from 2019 to 2021. Lorena later joined Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. as a Regional Director, Medical Science Liaisons in 2021. In 2022, they joined G1 Therapeutics, Inc. as a Sr Director, Field Medical Affairs Team Lead in the Medical Affairs Department and worked there until 2023. Currently, Lorena is employed as a Sr. Director, Field Medical Science Liaisons at Agenus.
Lorena Chambers obtained their PharmD degree in Pharmacy from the University of Arizona in 1986. Lorena also achieved the certification of Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) in December 2008, although the institution where they obtained this certification is unknown.
