Rebekah Leong

Rebekah Leong is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in cellular and molecular biology. Currently employed at Agenus since July 2021, Rebekah specializes in cell line development, copy number analysis, gene expression biomarker analysis, and automation scripting using Python. Prior to this role, Rebekah worked at Horizon Discovery from August 2016 to September 2019, where contributions included engineering genetically modified cells utilizing rAAV and CRISPR/Cas9, significantly improving AAV process transduction efficacy. Rebekah's early research experience includes internships at The University of Manchester, focusing on protein expression in Arabidopsis and contributing to programmed cell death studies. Rebekah holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with Enterprise, both from The University of Manchester.
