Renuka Sivendran, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Renuka currently holds the position of Vice President, Technical Operations at Agenus, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they were an Executive Director, Technical Operations at Agenus from January 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Agenus, Renuka held various leadership positions at Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc. (Acquired by Amgen) and Amgen. Renuka started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) from October 2003 to August 2008 and also had an internship at DuPont as an Intern in Corporate Process Development from January 1995 to August 1997.
Renuka Sivendran, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Renuka then pursued further education in Biophysics, earning their Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. Additionally, it is known that they attended St. Bridget's Convent in Colombo 07, although specific dates or degrees obtained from this institution are not provided.
