Matt Carroll

Matt Carroll has extensive work experience in the field of talent development and human resources. Matt is currently serving as the Head of Talent and Learning at Aggregate Industries UK since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Learning and Talent at GBG Plc from July 2017 to April 2022. Before that, they were an HR Business Partner at Fresenius Medical Care UK from October 2015 to June 2017. Matt also held various roles at E.ON UK, including HR Business Partner from August 2013 to October 2015, Learning and Development Business Partner from January 2010 to August 2013, and Learning and Development Manager from January 2008 to January 2010. Matt started their career at Egg Banking PLC as a Learning and Development Specialist from March 2006 to December 2008 and as an Underwriter from February 2005 to February 2006.

Matt Carroll earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2005. In 2013, they became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. In 2014, they completed the Action Mapping - eLearning certification from Cathy Moore. Matt also obtained certifications in psychometric testing from SHL in 2017 and Saville Consulting in 2015. Matt further expanded their expertise in psychometrics through a program at Saville Consulting in 2016. Additionally, Matt obtained the SDI Level 2 Practitioner certification from Personal Strengths (UK) Ltd in 2015 and completed the HAY Job Evaluation program from Korn Ferry Hay Group in 2013. Matt also received training as an Insights Practitioner from Insights Discovery in 2023.
