Johan Bolin

Johan Bolin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Johan is currently the Chief Business Officer - Media & Broadcast at Agile Content, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Agile Content from March 2021 to January 2023.

In 2022, Johan worked as an Advisor to the Board at Eyevinn Technology.

Before joining Agile Content and Eyevinn Technology, they held multiple roles at Edgeware AB. From January 2019 to March 2021, they served as the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPO & CTO). Johan previously held the positions of VP Products from May 2015 to December 2018 and VP Product and R&D from August 2014 to April 2015.

Johan Bolin's work experience extends to Tele2, where they started in 2009. Johan held various roles within the company, including Group Product Manager and Head of Media Solutions from August 2013 to August 2014, Group Product Manager Mobile Postpaid from January 2013 to August 2013, and Product Manager from September 2009 to February 2013.

Prior to Tele2, Johan worked at Ericsson from 2001 to 2009. Johan started as a Senior Research Engineer and Project Manager from February 2001 to March 2005, and later became a Strategic Product Manager, focusing on multimedia enablers, mobile positioning, and product positioning systems and location services.

Johan also has experience as a Co-Founder and board member at Visaren AB, which is now known as Appear Networks AB. Johan started this venture in November 1999 and worked there until April 2001. The company developed solutions for context-aware services for WiFi and was recognized as one of the startups with the highest potential in Sweden and Europe.

Johan Bolin completed their M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Signal Processing, from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Johan also attended the Army school of technology (ATS) for a year, where they earned a degree as a Military IT Specialist in the field of IT & Telecom. Johan Bolin has not obtained any additional certifications at this time.
