Prashanth Bangalore Venkatesh has a wealth of experience in propulsion design and analysis engineering, thermal and fluid science engineering, and mechanical engineering. Prashanth has worked for AGILE Space Industries since 2020 as a Lead Propulsion Analyst and a Propulsion Design and Analysis Engineer. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where they conducted research on flame acceleration, deflagration-to-detonation transition & high pressure combustion. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Gas Turbine Research Establishment, DRDO, where they conducted flow analysis of an inlet duct using NUMECA. Lastly, from 2008 to 2011, they were an Engine Development Engineer & Sponsorship Lead at Ashwa Racing, where they developed hands-on experience in manufacturing processes associated with the fabrication of an open cockpit race car for Formula SAE student competitions.
