Sonja Figueroa

Sonja Figueroa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Sonja is currently working at AgilityHealth as the Director of Product Management, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at AgilityHealth as an Enterprise Business Agility Strategist from February 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining AgilityHealth, Sonja worked at Fiserv as an Agile Coach from March 2021 to February 2022 and as a Scrum Master from November 2019 to March 2021. Sonja also worked at First National Bank of Omaha as a Scrum Master from July 2018 to November 2019 and at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska as a Product Owner from March 2018 to July 2018.

Sonja's earlier experience includes roles at First Data Corporation, where they worked as an IT Project Manager from December 2017 to March 2018, as a Senior Application Analyst from October 2016 to December 2017, as a Project Leader from January 2016 to October 2016, and as a Project Analyst from February 2013 to January 2016.

Sonja started their professional journey at ULTA Beauty as a Licensed Esthetics Manager from June 2012 to February 2013.

Sonja Figueroa has an education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Sonja obtained a Master's of Strategic Marketing from Bellevue University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same university in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Iowa Western Community College from 2008 to 2010, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management. In 2008, Sonja also attended Capitol Beauty School and received a degree in Esthetics.

In terms of additional certifications, Sonja obtained the following: ICAgile Agile Team Facilitator (ICP-ATF) from ICAgile in August 2022, AgilityHealth Trainer (AHT) from AgilityHealth in May 2022, AgilityHealth Facilitator (AHF) from AgilityHealth in March 2022, ICAgile Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) from ICAgile in February 2022, and Certified Scrum Master from The Braintrust Consulting Group in February 2018. Sonja also holds certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., including Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager obtained in March 2023, and Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner obtained in December 2022. Additionally, Sonja has a certification as a Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance obtained in February 2018.

Furthermore, Sonja holds a license as an Ethetician; however, the institution from which they obtained the license is unknown. Sonja has expressed an interest in obtaining a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute, but it is unclear whether they have actually obtained this certification or not.
