Varun Anand started their work experience as a Co-Anchor for a show called Young Turks at Sahara Samay News in New Delhi, India. Varun then worked as a Summer Intern at the National Institute of Oceanography in Goa. Following this, Varun founded and served as the CEO of a technology startup called DataCorp, focused on embedded systems and software solutions. Varun later worked as a Technical Consultant at IndiaPicture, developing an efficient image search engine for their website. Varun then had an internship as an Engineer Trainee at MakeMyTrip.com. Varun joined Oracle as an Associate Consultant, specializing in Oracle Retail GBU and working primarily with customers in EMEA. Varun co-founded MphRx and served as the company's COO for over 13 years, leading it through three successful pivots and eventually selling the business to agilon health. Varun is currently the Vice President - Clinical Data Products at agilon health, responsible for managing the P&L for the Minerva business.
Varun Anand completed their high school education at Laxman Public School in the years 1996 to 2004, earning a CBSE XII degree. Varun then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2004 to 2008. In 2023, Varun Anand attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained a degree in Leading with Impact, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
