Steph Shaw

Chief of Staff at Agio

Steph Shaw is currently the Chief of Staff at Agio. Prior to this, they were a consultant at The Bridgespan Group from August 2017 to May 2020. From May 2017 to November 2017, Steph was a Fellow and Editorial Advisor to Professor Bruce Usher at Tamer Center for Social Enterprise, Columbia Business School. There, they conducted research, wrote and edited copy, and engaged in thought-partnership with Professor Bruce Usher for their book “Renewable Energy,” a primer on energy transitions. Steph interned at the New York State Department of Health from June 2016 to September 2016, where they executed stakeholder engagement to inform establishment of an enterprise project management office and facilitated strategic planning process with the Office of Health Insurance Program's Division of Operations and Systems to align IT and IS work plans with agency-wide goals to reform the way Medicaid pays for and delivers healthcare to over 62 million beneficiaries. Prior to this, Steph was the Strategic Manager for Health Finance at Planned Parenthood Federation of America from February 2011 to October 2015.

Steph Shaw obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia Business School and their Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.

They are on a team with May Yoon - Chief People Officer, David Costa - Chief Operating Officer, and Garvin McKee - Chief Revenue Officer. Steph Shaw reports to Bart McDonough, CEO.
