Yaysie Figueroa

Yaysie Figueroa has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various leadership positions. Starting in 2008, they worked at Enobia Pharma as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations until 2010. Yaysie then moved on to Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as a Manager of Clinical Operations from 2010-2012. From 2012-2014, they worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals as a Lead Clinical Study Manager. In 2014, they joined Celldex Therapeutics as an Associate Director of Clinical Trial Management. Next, they worked at Biogen, first as a Clinical Operations Lead - Consultant from 2015-2015, then as a Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations Lead from 2015-2017. From 2017-2019, they worked at Bioverativ, a Sanofi company, first as a Leader of Clinical Operations, then as an Executive Director of Clinical Operations. From 2019-2021, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Program Management Director. Yaysie then joined Imara Inc. in 2021, where they held the positions of Executive Director of Clinical Operations from 2021-2021 and Vice President of Clinical Operations from 2021-2022. In 2022, they worked at Sparrow Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations until early 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at Agios Pharmaceuticals, starting in 2023.

Yaysie Figueroa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Colgate University from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2022 to 2025, Yaysie pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. The field of study for the MBA program was not specified.
