Chris Chamberlain

Chris Chamberlain is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in energy trading and investment, currently serving as the Head of Energy Trading at AGL Energy since 2013. Previously, Chris held various roles at AGL Energy, including Head of Power Trading and Manager of Power Trading. As a co-founder and Trading Manager of Ignition Energy Investments from 2007 to 2012, Chris implemented a disciplined value-based investing strategy, achieving impressive returns in the Australian market. Early in the career, Chris worked as a Trading Analyst at Energy Australia and held analyst positions at Ulster Bank Financial Markets and Ernst & Young. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Monash University, as well as a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is a Chartered Accountant.
