Dr. Nagesha B V started working as an Agronomy Research Specialist at Agmatix in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hytech Seed India Pvt Ltd from September 2020 to March 2022, where they held the position of Senior Officer Trainee in Trial Seed production/Seed Production Research (SPR).
Dr. Nagesha B V has an extensive education history in the field of agriculture. Dr. Nagesha began their academic journey in 2009 at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. This program provided him with a solid foundation in various agricultural principles and practices.
From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Nagesha B V pursued a Master of Science in Agriculture at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. During this time, they focused on crop physiology, molecular biology, plant tissue culture, transgenics development, and biotechnology. This advanced degree allowed him to delve deeper into the scientific aspects of agriculture and develop expertise in these specialized areas.
Continuing their academic pursuits, Dr. Nagesha B V joined PJTSAU (ANGRAU), Hyderabad in 2016 to undertake a Ph.D. program. Their research during this time focused on crop physiology, plant nutrition, agronomy, and crop production and management. This doctoral degree further enhanced their knowledge and skills in these crucial areas of agricultural science.
Through their education, Dr. Nagesha B V has gained comprehensive knowledge in the various aspects of agriculture, ranging from general principles to specialized fields such as crop physiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology. Their research experience and expertise equip him with a well-rounded understanding of agricultural practices and advancements in the field.
