Vishal Sharma

As VP of Technology, Vishal Sharma is responsible for steering technology and architecture for AGNITY products. He brings over 22 years of experience in conceptualizing and creating carrier grade telecom products. He is the key architect of AGNITY’s flagship application server, CAS (Communications Application Server).

Prior to his current role, Vishal managed engineering delivery for AGNITY’s Communication and Multimedia Solutions. He joined AGNITY from GENBAND where he managed service delivery and element management platforms. Earlier he was in BayPackets where he managed service delivery platforms and contributed in creating a mediation platform. He started his career with Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) where he developed an optimized algorithm for multicasting through ATM switch fabric.

Vishal holds a Master’s degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India, which he joined after earning the Gold Medal in his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He is also a recipient of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholarship.
