Jie Zhao

Jie Zhao has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2009, they worked as a Finance Assistant at Gucci Group Services, where they handled monthly sales reports and assisted in a digital invoicing system upgrade. Jie then joined Bridge Media as a Documentary Researcher in 2012. The following year, Jie worked at The Chinese Weekly as a Marketing Executive, managing PR campaigns for UK educational institutions targeting Chinese students. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Product Development Project Manager at RED GOLD London, overseeing the development of skincare product lines. In 2015, they became a Sales Director at CPRESSPHOTO LIMITED, acquiring licensing clients in the UK and Europe. Jie joined hoolihome in 2017 as the Head of UK, where they established the sales strategy and led the sales team across multiple cities in the UK. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Self-Employed Media Consultant, handling various projects such as Gucci China's sales summit and TV format development for Shanghai Media Group. Jie then joined T-ART Digital in 2021, working initially as a TikTok Shop Live Streaming Producer and later as an E-commerce Manager, specializing in TikTok Shop partnerships and beauty/fashion. Jie'smost recent role, starting in February 2023, is as the Head of Growth at AGORA.

Jie Zhao completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bath from 2007 to 2011.
