Deb Mitchell

Deb Mitchell has a wide range of work experience in the field of marketing, social media, and community management. From 2014-2019, they served as Marketing Director and Social Media Marketing Manager at Be Social Marketing, where they developed a social media strategy, curated and created engaging content, created and managed editorial social media calendars, and managed campaigns. From 2016-2019, they were also a Marketing Consultant and Social Media Manager/Community Manager at UC Berkeley Executive Education, where they managed the day-to-day social presence and content distribution/curation on the official UC Berkeley Executive Education social networks. In 2016, they were also an Embassy Ambassador at Social Media Examiner's Social Media Marketing World. From 2019-2022, they were a Community Manager and Social Media Manager at Agorapulse, a Social Media Pulse Mastermind Community Manager at Social Media Pulse, and Founder of Membership WOW. In addition, Deb Mitchell founded Scraptalk.com in 2000, and was President and Board Member of the Napa Valley Education Foundation from 2006-2019.

Deb Mitchell graduated from the University of California, Davis with a BA in Communications in 1991. Deb then attended the Academy of Art University and obtained a BFA in Graphic Design in 1994. In November 2020, they obtained two certifications: a Meta Certified Community Manager and a Facebook Certified Community Manager.
