Oscar Rahnama

Oscar R. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Oscar started their career in 2011 with Lockheed Martin, where they worked as a Software Development and Integration professional. In 2013, they briefly worked at Infolytica Corporation as a Model Designer. Oscar then transitioned to the Canadian Forces, where they served as a Corporal in the Infantry from 2008 to 2014. Following their military service, they joined Orbis Investments as a Quant Analyst in 2017, conducting research on various financial topics. Oscar's research scientist skills were further utilized at FiveAI, where they worked from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, they joined Lightelligence, taking up the role of Research Scientist and Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Agot as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer with their tenure starting in 2022.

Oscar R. completed their education at three different institutions, beginning with McGill University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, Oscar attended the University of Oxford from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Finally, Oscar R. returned to the University of Oxford from 2014 to 2019 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering.
