Gabriel S. has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Corporal in the Brazilian Army, where they completed their mandatory military service and excelled in shooting skills. Afterward, they worked as an IT systems intern at Tilibra, where they maintained SQL objects and provided maintenance to the billing system.
Gabriel then joined SinergyTech as a Projects and Processes Specialist, where they played a crucial role in creating the Speech Analytics platform and promoting agile practices within the organization. Gabriel later co-founded and became the Head of Technology at Nomad, a fintech startup focused on simplifying investment management through econometric models and AI. Nomad received recognition in the form of third place in Brazil's Entrepreneurship Championship.
Gabriel's next position was at Optibus, where they served as a Solutions Architect. Gabriel won a hackathon and introduced the "OD Matrix Estimator," which estimated common origin-destination patterns from bus AFC data. Gabriel also led a Tableau analytics project that integrated multiple data sources, enhancing transparency in company metrics.
Currently, Gabriel is a Solutions Architect at Nexla. Their responsibilities include collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. Gabriel conducts product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, identifying customer pain points and mapping Nexla's solutions to address those needs.

Gabriel S. began their education journey in 2017 at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems in 2021. Alongside their degree, Gabriel has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in different areas. In June 2020, they earned the EXIN Cloud Computing certification from EXIN. In October 2019, Gabriel participated in the ITA Challenge and secured the third-place position, granted by the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA. Continuing their professional development, Gabriel acquired the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt™ certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in September 2021. Additionally, they gained proficiency in Python Applications on AWS through a certification offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021.
