Dave Yallop

Dave Yallop Msc has had an extensive career in the manufacturing and operations sector, beginning in 1978 at Bespak. Dave then moved to Lenstech in 2000, where they held the position of Programme Manager. From 2002 to 2007, they were the Managing Director of Interim Solutions, and from 2007 to 2011 they were the Business Unit Manager (Plastics) at West Pharmaceutical Services. Dave then held the position of Operations/Managing Director at Polymermedics Ltd from 2011 to 2017, and is currently the Director of Manufacturing & Operations at AgPlus Diagnostics Ltd. Throughout their career, Dave has achieved notable successes, such as delivering an 28% improvement in OEE performance across the business unit at West Pharmaceutical Services, rejuvenating the St Austell facility and saving it from the threat of closure, improving capacity regarding manufacturing activities producing parts for insulin injector pen from 50 million to 90 million units per annum, improving levels of high speed printing machine OEE by 42%, and project managing a high value new phone program for Sony Ericsson.

Dave Yallop Msc has a varied educational background. Dave obtained a Master's degree in Manufacturing Management & Technology from The Open University between 1983 and 1985. Dave also holds a Post Grad Dipl. from The Open University in Manufacturing Managemet and a BA Degree from The Open University in Maths, Materials Technology, Modelling with Mathematics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics & Product Design. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Decision-Making Fundamentals, Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals, Solving Business Problems and Strategic Planning Fundamentals since 2017.
