Autonomy Software Engineer at Agtonomy

Toktam Mohammadnejad has a diverse work experience in the field of autonomy and artificial intelligence. From 2022 to present, they have been working as an Autonomy Software Engineer at Agtonomy. From 2020 to 2022, they were an AI Graduate at Stanford University, where they developed algorithms for autonomous food delivery by a mobile robot using ROS and Gazebo for simulation, as well as implemented Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models to detect small ships in SAR imagery. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Software Development at Schlumberger, where they were involved in all aspects of commercial software development and software release process. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar at Caltech, where they developed an Extended Finite Element code for hydro-mechanical modeling of fluid-driven fractures in multiphase porous media, and conducted dynamic analysis and numerical modeling of multi-physics problems.

Toktam Mohammadnejad has a comprehensive education history. Toktam completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. Toktam then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics from University of Tehran. After that, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Mechanics/Geomechanics from Sharif University of Technology. Toktam then became a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar in Engineering & Applied Science at Caltech. Finally, they are currently enrolled in an Artificial Intelligence Graduate Program at Stanford University. Toktam has also received three certificates from Elsevier, including 5 Most Highly Cited research in Finite Elements in Analysis and Design certificate, and two ScienceDirect Top 25 Hottest (Most Downloaded) Articles Certificates.
