Mark Tsang

Mark Tsang has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Mark began their career in 1990 as an Offshore Field Engineer for Oceonics Asia / Pacific, where they were responsible for the setup and maintenance of electronic survey equipment for the oil and gas industry. In 1992, they joined Osborne Computers as an IT Analyst in the Management Information Systems (MIS) department. In 1994, they moved to QIC where they held various roles, including Head of Technology and Manager Technical Services. In 2018, they began researching opportunities to support the UN Sustainability Development Goals through technology. In 2020, they joined AgUnity as the Head of Data and Project Lead. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Creator for AgriUT.

Mark Tsang completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland from 1983 to 1987. Mark then completed a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the ISC from 2004 to 2005. In 2019, they completed a Tech for Good - The Role of ICT in Achieving the SDGs from the SDG Academy. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London, which they began in 2020.
