Peter Swenson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Peter started their career as a Supervisory Operating Accountant at the Federal Bureau of Prisons from August 1991 to September 1997. From September 1997 to March 2000, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Prestia Vick & Associates, LLC.

In 2000, Peter joined Zurich North America as an Intermediate Accountant, where they were responsible for various tax filings and preparing federal tax information. Peter stayed with Zurich North America until May 2005.

Throughout their career, Peter has gained expertise in project management, business analysis, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Peter has also demonstrated their proficiency in Agile methodology and is PMP certified.

Peter Swenson completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting from Rockhurst University in 1991. Peter then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance at Rockhurst University, completing it in 1999. Later, in 2005, they achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drawing and Painting from The University of Kansas. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in October 2016.
