Andrew Macgregor has a strong background in software engineering and development. Andrew began their career at the University of Otago, where they worked as a Systems and Support Engineer from 1998 to 2002. Andrew then moved on to Murdoch University, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2004 to 2013, primarily focusing on Django web application development. In 2013, Andrew joined Agworld as a Devops Engineer, responsible for development team support and the implementation of technology initiatives. Andrew later became the Head of Engineering, working closely with the CTO to ensure the successful adoption of technology initiatives within the development team.
Andrew Macgregor completed their education at Massey University, where they obtained a Postgrad Diploma in Computing from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended the University of Otago from 1990 to 1992, earning a BA degree in English Language and Literature, General. In addition to their degrees, Andrew has also obtained a certification as a Certified Incident Responder from PagerDuty in January 2021.
