Kuide Qin

Kuide "Kwey-Duh" Qin is an accomplished scientific leader with extensive experience in agricultural and materials science. Currently serving as Chief Science Officer at Verdesian Life Sciences since 2017, Kuide provides strategic direction for various product technologies and oversees R&D and Regulatory Affairs. Additionally, as a Scientific Advisor for AgXelerators, Kuide supports agricultural innovators with formulation services and consulting. Previous roles include Manager of Field Application Technology at Bayer Crop Science and Lead R&D Manager at Dow, where Kuide led innovative product development and technology transfer efforts. Kuide's educational background includes a PhD in Surface Chemistry and Colloid Chemistry from the University of Florida, as well as multiple post-baccalaureate certificates from North Carolina State University in Soil Sciences and Agricultural Business Management. Kuide also completed the Bayer Senior Managers' Business Management Program at the University of Notre Dame and holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
