Jonathan Steel

Jonathan Steel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 15 years in the software development industry. Jonathan has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in leadership, architecture, and development. Jonathan currently works as an Engineering Lead at Aha!, a self-funded, highly profitable, and remote high-growth SaaS company. Previously, they served as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect at Conx2share Inc. and as a Lead Architect at gShift Labs, where they developed and maintained SaaS software and infrastructure, trained and supervised development teams. Jonathan also worked as a Software Developer at LinkTiger, Inc., a Network Security Software Developer at eSentire Inc., a Software Developer at Intuitive Reason, a Software Engineer at ALT Software, and a Medium Voltage Software Developer at Rockwell Automation. Additionally, they gained experience in tech support during their time at the University of Waterloo.

Jonathan Steel attended the University of Waterloo from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science, also known as BMath.
