Steve Gilbert

Steve Gilbert is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in collaboration and messaging systems. Currently serving as a Senior Collaboration Engineer at Ahold Delhaize since September 2017, Steve is dedicated to consolidating diverse collaboration systems into a unified O365/Azure environment. Prior to this role, Steve worked at Delhaize Group for nearly two decades as the Lead Engineer for Global Directory and Messaging, overseeing the architecture and management of Active Directory and email systems for a vast international operation. Earlier career experiences include serving as a LAN Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included email support and transitioning directory services, and as a Database Administrator at Pfizer, focused on enhancing database capabilities for manufacturing resource management. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marymount Manhattan College and attended Florida State University.
