Suraksha Rajagopal

Suraksha Rajagopal began their work experience in 2009 as a Public Health-STEP student at Alberta Health Services. Suraksha then worked as a Research Assistant at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they were a M.Sc. Student Research Assistant at the University of Alberta/Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. In 2014, Suraksha joined Pinnacle Foods Group LLC as a Technician before moving on to Mondelēz International in the same year, where they worked as a Senior Technician and later as an Associate Scientist II until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Lead Food Scientist at Spoonshot, a research and innovation platform for food professionals. Currently, Suraksha is the Senior Manager of Consumer Insights at Ai Palette, starting in 2023.

Suraksha Rajagopal obtained a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Alberta, completing the program from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2010, Suraksha earned a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General, also from the University of Alberta. Earlier, from 2006 to 2008, Suraksha attended Red Deer Polytechnic, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.
