Alexandra Lohr has an extensive work history. Alexandra began their career in 2000 as General Manager of the Buddha-Bar Hotel Paris. In 2005, they moved to Promostyl as an Associate Creative Director. In 2007, they became a District Manager at Steve Madden. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Buyer/Manager at Adelaide Retail, where they secured and purchased products from the Italian and German markets, developed a budget for each category exceeding $2.5M, and adjusted the buying plan/reorders based on fit and seasonal changes. Alexandra delivered $500K+ in annual sales through a personal book of business of 750+ clients while coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless product flow. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Lori+Lulu as a Director Of Merchandise Planning, Buyer, and Buyer/Planning/Operations. During this time, they leveraged data analytics to drive strategic merchandising planning and optimize inventory management for in-store and online merchandise across 5 stores while training management at all 5 locations on procurement/merchandising best practices. Alexandra also developed and implemented procurement strategies and training with a focus on promoting sustainability across the value chain, resulting in substantial revenue growth and the turnaround of the underperforming Raleigh, NC store to achieve 2x profit growth. In 2019, they became the Chief Sustainability Officer at Ai2, where they played a key role in building a sustainability tech start-up that specializes in combining geo-data with machine learning capabilities to deliver synthesized “real-time” data for brands to drive innovation, better decision-making, and sustainable business solutions. Alexandra also wrote and developed pitch decks to promote the company’s primary value proposition while successfully pitching the concept to various stakeholders and investors in the tech space.

Alexandra Lohr received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Fashion & Apparel Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1998. In March 2022, they obtained a Certification in Sustainability from the University of Cambridge, with a focus in Business Management in Sustainability.
