Chen Wang has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2012, Chen worked as a Research Assistant and later as a Teaching Assistant at the Center for Soft Matter Research at New York University. In 2017, Chen joined IBM as a Senior Strategy Consultant and later as a Lead Data Scientist, managing a team and developing ML solutions for the company's business operations. In 2019, Chen moved to DataRobot, where they held various roles, including Customer Facing Data Scientist, Data Science Practice Lead, and Director of Applied AI, Alliances & Channel Partnership. Currently, Chen is working at AI21 Labs as the Lead Alliance Solution Architect.
Chen Wang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics from New York University, where they attended from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Nanjing University, attending from 2007 to 2011. In addition, Chen has obtained various certifications in fields such as AI modeling techniques, time series modeling, problem framing for AI, data science using DataRobot, deep learning with TensorFlow, and particulate media.
