Julie Fadlon, PhD has extensive work experience in various research and teaching positions. Julie'smost recent role was as the Head of Human Evaluation at AI21 Labs, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Analytical Linguist at the same company from February 2020 to July 2022.
From October 2018 to January 2020, Julie served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University. In this role, they developed and conducted behavioral experiments, modeled language data, mentored research and teaching assistants, presented their work at conferences, collaborated with experts in the field, and published their findings in academic journals. At Tel Aviv University, they also served as a graduate professor from September 2011 to September 2013 and from September 2010 to October 2012. Julie started their academic career at Tel Aviv University as a teaching assistant from September 2006 to September 2010.
Julie's diverse work experience also includes a freelance columnist position at Yedioth Ahronoth, where they created and wrote the column "Fashion Victim" from October 2005 to October 2006.
