Derk-Jan also held various leadership positions at Pegasystems, including Vice President and Managing Director Benelux and Nordics, Managing Director Benelux, and Director Benelux. Derk-Jan was responsible for driving business growth, building relationships with clients and partners, and delivering innovative solutions. Additionally, Derk-Jan worked as the Managing Director Benelux at Adobe Systems, where they achieved significant revenue growth and integrated new acquisitions strategies. Earlier in their career, they served as the Brand Leader ECM Benelux at IBM Software Group and the Country Manager Benelux & Nordics at FileNet B.V., where they excelled in sales channel development and business growth. Derk-Jan has a proven track record of success in sales management, strategic planning, P&L management, and team leadership.

Derk-Jan Brand attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in Engineering & Architecture (Ing.).
