Vijay Penumarti

Vijay Penumarti has held various roles in the field of data science since 2014. In 2014, they were a Student Intern at Tata Motors Limited - Commercial Vehicles, where they worked on a project titled "Rule Based Automotive Schematic Design". In 2016, they were an Intern at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where they developed a SaaS application and a Chrome Extension. From 2017 to present, they have been working at AiDA Technologies Pte Ltd as a Lead Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading, developing and deploying various production grade AI based solutions for Tier 1 & 2 Financial Institutions, such as Trading Floor e-Surveillance Systems, Fraudulent Claims Detection, Health Claims Decisioning Systems, Loan Approval Systems and Predictive Maintenance of ATMs.

Vijay Penumarti completed a Master of Technology (MTech) in Knowledge and Data Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Malla Reddy Engineering College between 2011 and 2015.
