Sariah is a Junior Program Manager who works on a variety of projects for the Policy Analysis Unit. She researches the role of social media in the public diplomacy efforts of the United States, Russia, and China. She also supports the Listening to Leaders survey by managing a team of research assistants and overseeing data collection.

Prior to becoming a JPM, Sariah worked with AidData as a research assistant tracking domestic restrictions to and foreign influence on civic space in Eastern Europe and Eurasia. She served as an administrative intern for the Project on International Peace and Security (PIPS), and collected data on Chinese development finance in the East Asia and Pacific region as a student researcher for the Transparent Development Footprints program. Her research interests include civil society and peace-building, with particular interest in narratives around violence and contested governance.
