Seamus McAvoy

Seamus McAvoy has a diverse range of work experience in the journalism and media industry. Seamus began their career as a Sports Intern at Boston Globe Media in July 2019 and later transitioned to becoming a Sports Correspondent in January 2020. In January 2021, Seamus joined VTDigger as a General Assignment Reporter, where they worked until June of that year. Seamus then moved on to The Hartford Courant, where they held various reporter roles including General Assignment Reporter, Breaking News Reporter, and Education and Equity Reporter from September 2021 to May 2022. In 2023, Seamus worked as a Contributor at The NIL Deal and currently holds the role of Sales Development Representative at Aiera.

Seamus McAvoy began their education at Camas High School in 2012 and completed their studies there in 2016. After graduating from high school, they attended UC San Diego from 2016 to 2018, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time. Finally, Seamus McAvoy attended Northeastern University from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
