Adeola Bannis has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They currently hold the position of Sr Signal Processing Engineer at AiFi Inc. since June 2022.

Adeola's academic background includes being a PhD Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2015 to May 2022. During this time, their research focused on the challenges and implications of the Internet of Things in wireless sensor networks.

In addition, Adeola has gained practical experience through various internships and positions. They worked as a Summer Research Intern at AiFi Inc. in June 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Intern at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Dominica from January 2019 to June 2019.

Adeola's earlier experiences include being a Research Assistant at UCLA from June 2014 to December 2014, a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2013 to May 2014, an iOS Developer at Brit Media from August 2012 to April 2013, and an iOS Engineer at Callaway Digital Arts from October 2011 to July 2012.

Adeola began their career as an iOS Engineer at Apple Inc. in August 2010, where they worked until October 2011.

Adeola Bannis began their education at Carnegie Mellon University in 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Adeola completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. After graduating, Adeola returned to Carnegie Mellon University in 2013 to further their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2014. Adeola continued their academic journey at Carnegie Mellon University, this time pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which they completed in 2022.
