Pekka Mattila

Pekka Mattila is the current Chairman at Aiforia. Pekka was previously the CEO of Finnzymes from November 1987 to March 2011. Finnzymes was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific in March 2010, and Pekka continued to work there as a Director and site leader until March 2011.

Pekka Mattila completed a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Food Technology at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Pekka then attended MIT, NIEHS, and Oregon State Univ., where they specialized in environmental science and toxicology.
