Matthew Gallagher

Matthew Gallagher is a seasoned corporate communications professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of Media Relations for General Insurance at AIG since April 2011, Matthew has a strong record of crafting effective internal and external communications campaigns to support business objectives. Previous positions include Head of Communications for Commercial Insurance and various director roles at AIG. Prior experience includes significant roles at KPMG, Weber Shandwick, Dow Jones, Metal Bulletin, and Schnell Publishing. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University.
