Gertjan Verachtert

Gertjan Verachtert has worked as a Lawyer at Sansen International Tax Lawyers since November 2015, where they assist clients in the handling of files related to Belgian and international taxation, as well as tax aspects of private estate planning. Gertjan also served as the President of the Tax Law Commission at AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Lawyer at Tiberghien Lawyers from September 2011 until November 2015.

Gertjan Verachtert completed a Master of Laws with Cum Laude honors at KU Leuven in 2010. In 2011, they pursued a Master in Taxation, specializing in Tax Law with Cum Laude honors at KU Leuven. In 2016, they attended a Permanente Vormingscyclus Estate Planning program at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
