Payal Patel

Payal Patel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Payal is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at AIM7 Inc. since June 2023. In the same year, they also took on the position of Director of Sponsorships at Osprey- Redefining Icons.

Prior to their current roles, Payal founded their own venture called Patel It Like It Is Ventures in 2012. Payal has also held positions at Softeq as the Principal of Softeq Ventures and Director of Softeq Venture Studio, where they focused on sourcing and diligencing early-stage venture deals and worked closely with tech founders. Additionally, Payal worked as the Director at Plug and Play Tech Center, leading their Texas presence and investing in startups in the energy sector.

Before their time at Plug and Play, Payal was the Director of Business Development at Station Houston, where they led the enterprise sales function and built relationships with Fortune 500 customers. Payal also worked as a Freelance Writer at Houston Business Journal and had a brief stint as a World Traveler during their self-employed period.

Payal's earlier work experience includes their role as the Manager of Client Service at Aventine Hill Partners and as a Business Development Manager, Energy Expert at Spencer Stuart. Overall, Payal Patel has a strong background in business development, entrepreneurship, and venture investments.

Payal Patel completed their education with a High School degree from Canyon High School in the years 1998 to 2002. Payal then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University between 2002 and 2006. Following this, they attended the London Business School from 2010 to 2012, earning herself an MBA degree.
