Managing Director, Transformation Lead, Talent Development & Enablement at AIMCo

Siobhan Calderbank has extensive experience in talent management, learning and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Siobhan currently works at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) as the Managing Director, Transformation Lead, Talent Development & Enablement. In this role, Siobhan creates and guides enterprise-wide learning and development programs to support AIMCo's business transformation.

Prior to AIMCo, Siobhan served as the Managing Director, Talent at the same company. Siobhan developed and implemented talent strategies, including DEI and employee experience, to drive the organization's strategic plan forward. Siobhan also played a key role in designing talent-related strategies as a subject matter expert and partner to the CHRO.

Siobhan previously worked as the Senior Director Talent Management & DEI at LCBO, where they led the Talent Management team and oversaw various development programs, including learning, leadership, and talent management, to support business strategies and drive organizational improvement.

Siobhan's experience also includes roles such as Director of Learning and Development at Intelex Technologies ULC, Director of Change Management at sgsco, and Program Director, Leadership and Change Management at TidalShift Inc. In these positions, they designed and delivered innovative learning and development programs and built change management capabilities within organizations.

Siobhan has also held roles at Canadian Community of Corporate Educators, Canadian Management Centre, OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming), and Rogers Business Solutions, where they gained a diverse set of skills and experiences in talent development, learning and development, project management, and change management.

Siobhan Calderbank has a solid education background with a focus on leadership, project management, and information technology management. Siobhan obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Technology Management & Telecommunications from Ryerson University in 2002. Siobhan also completed several certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Training and Development Professional.

Siobhan furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University, which they completed between 2014 and 2016. In 2022, Siobhan obtained a Certificate in the 4 Seasons of Reconciliation from First Nations University of Canada.

In addition to their academic achievements, Siobhan has acquired certifications in various areas including change management, obtained from Prosci and APMG International. Siobhan is also a certified Prosci® Change Practitioner and a Change Management Practitioner.
