Joseph McGuire

Joseph McGuire has held various positions in the past decade, beginning with a Maintenance Worker at Mustang Water Park in 2012. Joseph then worked as a Sales Associate at Gh Bass Shoes and Polo Ralph Lauren Factory from 2012-2014. From 2018-2019, they were a Student, Mathematics Grader, Student Researcher, and Supplemental Instruction Leader at Sonoma State University. In 2019, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since 2020, they have been a Graduate Student, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Student Researcher at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). In 2021, they were elected Financial Secretary for UAW Local 4123, and in 2022 they joined AIMdyn, Inc. as a Research Engineer and Deloitte as a Data Scientist.

Joseph McGuire attended Allan Hancock College from 2013 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Computer Science. Joseph then attended Sonoma State University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in both Mathematics and Physics. Currently, Joseph is attending California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Applied Mathematics.
