Edina Hot

Edina Hot is an accomplished professional in scientific communications, currently serving as Sr Manager of Scientific Communications and Publications at both Aimmune Therapeutics and Nestlé Health Science since February 2022. Prior to these roles, Edina held positions at SOPHiA GENETICS as a Scientific Communication Manager and Senior Scientific Communication Specialist from January 2021 to February 2022, and at infill healthcare communication as a Medical and Scientific Communication specialist from August 2018 to January 2021. Edina's academic background includes a PhD from the Max-Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, completed in 2013, a BA in Biology from the College of the Atlantic, obtained in 2008, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC Red Cross Nordic, finished in 2004. Edina's early career also included a postdoctoral fellowship at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia and a teaching assistant role at The Jackson Laboratory, enhancing expertise in scientific research and communication.
