Dennis Ikpe

Dennis Ikpe is a seasoned academic and industry professional with expertise in data science, probability, and finance. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Guarantor Capital LLC since September 2023, Dennis also holds the position of Research Associate at AIMS South Africa while co-founding Guarantor Capital in November 2016. Previously, Dennis was a Visiting Professor at Michigan State University, teaching probability and statistics, and conducted research in stochastic analysis and finance. With a solid academic background, Dennis obtained multiple advanced degrees including a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town and a PhD in Mathematics of Finance from the University of Michigan. Career highlights also include roles at the University of South Africa, the University of Michigan, and Standard Bank Group, where expertise in risk management and model validation was applied.
