Jane Hughes

Jane Hughes is a distinguished scientist holding the position of Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder at Aiolos Bio since October 2023 and serving on the Scientific Advisory Board at Sania Therapeutics since May 2023. Prior to these roles, Jane held the title of Chief Scientific Officer at NewCo from September 2022 to October 2023 and at Gyroscope Therapeutics from November 2018 to September 2022, where additional responsibilities included Vice President of Translational Research. Jane's experience also includes serving as Senior Director of Integrated Drug Discovery at Charles River Laboratories and Director of Discovery Medicine in Immuno-Inflammation at GSK. Earlier in Jane's career, significant positions included Associate Project Director and Associate Director in Neuroscience at MedImmune and varied roles at GSK as Research Scientist, Investigator, and Group Leader. Jane Hughes earned a PhD in Developmental Immunology from Keele University between 1995 and 1998.
