Ismail Bajawi

Ismail Bajawi has extensive work experience in the field of software architecture and enterprise architecture. Their most recent role is as the Head of Software Architecture at Aion Digital, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Kuwait Finance House from 2014 to 2021, holding various positions such as Senior Manager Enterprise Architecture, Manager Enterprise Architecture, Senior Enterprise Architect, and Technical Team Lead. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Safat Enterprise Solutions in roles such as Technical Team Lead and Senior Java Developer. Ismail also worked briefly at Hello Jordan and Delta Informatics as an Oracle Developer in 2005 and 2003 respectively.

Ismail Bajawi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Jordan, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In December 2016, they became TOGAF Certified through The Open Group. In April 2012, they received a certification in Webcenter Portal from Oracle, and in February 2012, they obtained a certification in Weblogic Admin, also from Oracle. Most recently, in August 2021, they completed a certification in Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design from LinkedIn.
