Waqas Jamil

Waqas Jamil began their work experience in 2013 as an intern at Mentor Graphics, where they worked on GNU Open Source Debugger (GDB) and gained experience with QEMU and MEL (Mentor Embedded Linux). In 2013, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Invent Solutions.

From 2014 to 2016, Waqas worked at Avanza Solutions as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. Waqas was responsible for developing payment solutions, integrating systems with external systems, and contributing to products within provided time limits.

In 2019, Waqas joined Virtual Force Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on a new product utilizing technologies such as nodejs, nestjs, graphql, mssql, knex(orm), angular, and dockers. Prior to that, they worked on a corporate onboarding system for a digital bank using .net MVC, MSSQL, OCR, and NHibernate.

In 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Luminogics (SMC-Private) Limited before joining Aion Digital as a Principal Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Waqas Jamil completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued their Fsc in Pre-Engineering at Superior Group of Colleges. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Front-End Web Development with React from Coursera in April 2019, as well as ASP.NET (Core) MVC, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, C#, and SQL (Hard) from TestDome in April 2018.
