Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson has an extensive background in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Director of Tooling Operations, Facility Growth, and Continuous Improvement at Air Canada since July 2011. Wilson has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Sr Director of Line Maintenance, Director of Line Maintenance, General Manager at YYZ, and Manager of Operations. Prior to joining Air Canada, Wilson was the owner of Wilder Custom Contracting from October 2008 to July 2011 and began the career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Air Canada from April 1998 to October 2008. Wilson holds an education from Canadore College, where studies took place from 1993 to 1995.
