Ian Mitchell

Ian Mitchell possesses extensive experience in training design and development within the aviation sector, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Lead Designer for Cabin Crew Training at Air Canada since April 2001, Ian has been instrumental in transitioning instructor-led programs to e-Learning formats and leading flight attendant training initiatives, including First Aid and recurrent training. Prior roles at Canadian Airlines International included Training Design Manager and Project Manager, where Ian contributed to award-winning training programs and facilitated collaborative training for pilots and flight attendants. Ian's background also includes serving as a Flight Attendant at both Wardair and Canadian Airlines. Academic credentials encompass a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of King's College and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from Concordia University.
