Charles Sanders has extensive work experience in business development, sales, and management roles. Charles started their career at Solvay Polymers, where they held positions as a Senior Engineer and Unit Manager, overseeing product development, manufacturing, and utilities operations. Charles then joined Air Liquide Engineering, where they worked as a Strategic Account Manager and Senior Sales Manager, responsible for global client relations and sales of industrial gas purification plants. Charles later joined Vitalaire as a Regional Director, leading the French respiratory care subsidiary with double-digit sales growth. Charles then moved to Air Liquide / EMI, serving as a Commercial Director and Senior Manager, leading business development for mega projects and the sales of standard-design plants worldwide. Charles then joined Air Liquide America as the Director of Business Development for the Large Industries activity, managing contracts for industrial gas supply and leading a team of business development managers. Currently, they are the Vice President of Business Development for Air Liquide, focusing on the company's US Hydrogen Energy activity, supplying hydrogen for fuel cells.

Charles Sanders completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from Rice University during the years 1983-1987. Charles also attended INSEAD for a brief period in 1995, where they obtained an MBA degree.
