Megan Sorensen has a diverse work experience spanning from being an EMT at Siouxland Paramedics in 1994 to holding various roles at Air Methods, including Regional Vice President starting in 2021. Their experience includes positions at Creighton University, where they were an Assistant Professor, and roles at different healthcare organizations such as Trauma Program Manager at Creighton University Medical Center and Clinical Program Manager at Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha. Additionally, Megan has contributed as Chair of the Board of Directors at the Spina Bifida Association of America and a Site Surveyor at the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems Europe (CAMTS EU).
Megan Sorensen earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from Creighton University in 1997. Megan later pursued a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University. Megan also holds certifications as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN®) from the BOARD OF CERTIFICATION FOR EMERGENCY NURSING (BCEN®) in 2021 and as an Advanced Nurse Executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2018.
